Q: How durable is ARLINE?

A: According to EN 350-1 standard that defines the durability of wood based  products, ARLINE has the highest classification level. ARLINE has been tested in line with the EN 15531-1 standard which specifies the test methods of the heavily wood based material and products. Within the criteria, artificial abrasion (colour change and impact resistance), it holds humidity     resistance (mass increase, height increase, expansion increase and  thickness increase), resistance against termites, basidiomicytes and soft  rotting micro fungus living in the soil.

Q: Are there any harmful chemical and toxins in ARLINE wood composite deck coverings?

A: ARLINE products do not contain any toxic and harmful material.

Q: What is the reaction of ARLINE to fire?

A: ARLINE is a combustible material due to its cellulose and plastic content but  it has low flammability.

Q: Do the ARLINE products get slippery when heated?

A: ARLINE doesn’t get slippery when dry and when wet.

Q: What happens if ARLINE wood composite deck is kept under water for a   long time?

A: ARLINE absorbs almost no water. After ARLINE was kept in boiling water for     24 hours, its durability didn’t reduce. ARLINE’s water absorption is less than       1% in 24 hours. ARLINE doesn’t float. It sinks.

Q: Can the ARLINE wood composite deck be painted or polished?

A: It is not necessary for ARLINE but it is possible.
